New York Holiday Package Deal
Flew with United Airlines. Excellent flight and service, food wasn’t bad either. Decided to go New York for my 40th birthday, was an excellent choice. Security at JFK airport is a lot tighter now but nothing to daunting. The hotel was in a central location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, as we arrived at our room to find it was already occupied, they dealt with this very swiftly. Macy's was across the street, the subway on the doorstep, which we found pretty easy to use. We used the subway to get to downtown area of New York, ground zero, financial district etc.!!!!
Your best walking boots are highly recommended, if you want to see all the best sights, like the rockfeller centre, times square, central park is a must. Your spoilt for choice for food, not as cheap as we though it would be, but recommend Mickey Mantles opposite the entrance to central park close to the plaza hotel. Go to the Empire State Building early as the queues aren't to bad, they get longer as the day goes on, we got there at 9.30am as it opened and it still took about 3hrs in all.
Having been to London a few times will never complain about the traffic again as New York is absolutely manic its an experience just to see the taxis weave in and out of the traffic. Speed limits mean nothing to these people. All in we had a fabulous 3 days in New York would have loved a little more time as we sure we didn’t see it all, and would love to visit again.
Italian Holiday Package Deal

Initially I was concerned about the rating of the Hotel Catullo being only a 2star,also it was more or less the same price as a 3 star, but when browsing through City Breaks Guide.com I saw that the customer chart placed it very high on all counts so I took the risk. We had a lovely holiday the hotel was immaculate you could have eaten your food off the floor the owners were very pleasant and the staff were all very friendly in so much that they would wave and smile if they saw you out in the town. Our room was the only let down very small, but we had a lake view as requested, it was basic and the shower room was basic and in need of sprucing up even with the view the room was too small to want to spend time in it, but it was spotless and cleaned with fresh towels everyday. The rest of the hotel was very tidy and well presented the pool was very clean and the outside area was well supplied with chairs and sun beds, the restaurant was lovely and being a vegetarian was no problem they were more than happy to do something alternative for me. We decided that all round this was a satisfactory hotel, the good food, helpful staff, cleanliness, proximity to town and being yards from the harbour made the small room seem not so much of a problem. The organised excursions were very good we had the most wonderful guide on our day to Venice who managed to make all the other guides look dull and uninteresting, one thing I will say is that on the excursion trips why are we not allowed to use the toilet on the bus we had to ask for an emergency stop on the way back from a wine tasting tour! We would go with again our rep seemed made of stern stuff and always let us know if there was any change in the time of her calling. All in all we had a fabulous time. Just one tip if you go to Verona for the day take a walk out to the giusti gardens, on all the maps over the ponte nuovo, it is a stunning garden and we went in September and we had it to ourselves.
Spain Holiday Package Deal

We booked our package based on pictures of the resort and hotel found on the City Breaks Guide.com and based on the reviews from this site. What can we say; we were not at all disappointed. The hotel was fantastic, the food was of a very high standard and the staff spoke surprisingly good English. The only draw back was that there was no fan or air conditioning in the room; Spain chose this week to have a heat wave so it would have made the nights a lot more comfortable. As we came away for a last trip before becoming parents, this was a very relaxing time for us, plenty of stunning views and scenery. Mijas is a beautiful town, very unspoilt and as tourism is a very big part of their economy, many of the locals also spoke good English. So really a waste of time buying a phrase book, you only need to know basic greetings in Spanish just to be polite.
We hired a car for our visit and took a trip to Gibraltar, which is definitely worth it - the Rock being a beautiful site. We also did a guided tour of Marbella which although expensive (£35 for two) it did include coach, lunch and a shopping trip around Puerto Banus. This is a must see and if in the area you shouldn’t really miss it.
All in all we have a wonderful week, really we could have booked for longer as there was far more to see - but we shall have to wait a couple of years now
